Puzzle effect to a picture in Photoshop

Start by opening any picture you want using Adobe Photoshop. We want to split the image so go to View > Rullers (Ctrl+R). Select Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) and create a rectangular like in the picture below:

Now press Ctrl+J to create a new layer with the selection. Repeat these steps till you have 6 rectangles. Be careful to have the entire picture selected. Also be careful to have the background selected every time you create a rectangle. Now delete the layer with the original image.

Now go to Layer > Blending Options… . Here is the image with the settings that I choosed. Try to have the same settings or fell free to use your own settings.

Now right click the layer you applied the effects and select Copy Layer Style like in the image and then select the other layers and chose Paste Layer Style. Then can add more effects to the layers. Hit Ctrl+T and rotate the layers.
